About Bohar Bazaar
Bohar Bazaar supplies medical equipment and home care products to families, clinics and hospitals across Pakistan, from our base at 715 Khayaban Sir Syed Road, Rawalpindi.
Three generations in Bohar Bazaar
In the 1950s our grandfather, Haji Allah Rakha, came to Rawalpindi's Bohar Bazaar from Sialkot and started out in metal goods. Our family made its home in the bazaar, and in time made its living there too.
Our father, Muhammad Ahmed Mughal, and our uncles built on that start. They made and sold goods and supplied hospitals, distributors and the armed forces. Our uncle's shop, Asghar Brothers, is still in Bohar Bazaar today.
The third generation
Taking the business online was our father's idea, and we jumped in. Abdulkarim is a software engineer with five years in the field, most recently in health tech in Riyadh, and he came home to build this store. Muqtasid comes from accounting and finance and runs our operations and logistics. Our brother Sallar, who runs an accounting firm, sits on the board alongside our father.
Everything we sell comes from the bazaar. We photograph it there, pack it ourselves and send it anywhere in Pakistan.
