An alternating pressure anti-decubitus bubble mattress and pump system used in the skin care management of bedridden patients to help prevent bed sores. The pump inflates and deflates the A and B lines of the 130 bubble cells in turn on a 6 minute cycle so pressure is shifted continually across the body, running with low noise, low vibration and low temperature.
The mattress is 200 x 90 x 7 cm in 0.3 mm PVC to EN71 and takes a user weight of 130-150 kg; pump output is 6-7 L/min at 35-130 mmHg from a 220V-240V supply.
